2014 Pouilly Fuisse

(bottled in early September): Bright yellow-straw. Subtle aromas of white peach, citrus zest, smoke and stone. Offers lovely lift on the palate, showing an attractive blend of sweet Chardonnay fruit and stony acidity. The pure, reverberating finish dusts the mouth with stone and saline minerality. A very serious entry-level Pouilly-Fuissé with real length and a light touch. This wine should bite into food quite nicely.
