Tasting notes
Very pale cherry red. Pretty intense, straightforward fruity red burgundy. Pretty chewy and a tad austere on the end but this should get there. (JR)

Smudgy ruby. Quite pale. Very ripe and opulent on the nose. Sweet start and rather less energetic than some. But lots of delivery and lots of pleasure. Just sweeter than the purist norm. (JR)
Medium red. Redcurrant, smoke and minerals on the nose. On the lean side but juicy and spicy, showing good energy and cut to the flavors of redcurrant and red licorice.
The 2014 Nuits St Georges comes from 0.8 hectares of vine. It has a fragrant bouquet, quite floral with subtle black cherry, wild strawberry and cherry scents filtering through. The palate is medium-bodied with a pastille-like entry, nicely weighted in the mouth with fine and quite precise lattice of tannin on the elegant finish.
