The 2014 Bourgogne Rouge, which is completely destemmed, has a ripe and quite opulent bouquet with kirsch and orange sorbet aromas. The palate is supple in the mouth with sweet tannin, candied orange peel with a juicy red cherry finish. Just a delicious, straightforward generic red Burgundy to enjoy over the next five or so years.

Very deep crimson. Juicy in the extreme and polished. (JR)
