Tasting notes
From a 0.5-hectare parcel, part of which was recently replanted, the 2013 Saint Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly has a vigorous, focused bouquet with freshly sliced pear and citrus lemon scents. The palate is citrus-fresh with a vivacious, zesty opening with veins of lime and lemongrass noticeable on the long finish. This is a very fine En Remilly to file along several others this vintage.

About the producer

Au Pied du Mont Chauve is one of the Picard family's labels. The estate produces brilliant-value Burgundy and is one of few producers able to hold back wine for later release.
