2013 Chevalier Montrachet

Pale yellow-green. A touch of reduction to the aromas of lime leaf, brioche and crushed stone. Tactile and broad on the palate but tightly wound in the early going, with intense lemon drop and mineral flavors displaying terrific inner-mouth energy. Comes across as much more backward than the Meursault Perrières today, finishing with terrific saline punch and persistence.
