(three barrels made, compared to a normal six): Bright yellow-green. Aromas of apple, ginger and powdered stone, plus a distinctly iodiney note. Intense white fruit flavors shows strong chalky and saline elements. Nothing heavy about this penetrating wine, which was picked very early. Finishes fine-grained and long, with lovely lift.
