Tasting notes
Deep crimson and very dry. Much more tannic and reserved than the Buzet wines I have just been tasting. Solid and concentrated. Needed a bit of aeration but was a good accompaniment to our côte de boeuf. (JR)

72% Merlot picked 7-11 October, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon picked 14-15 October, 7% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. Bright mid crimson. Rich and round. But not heavy. This should be VGV. Lots of charm and potential too. (JR)
The 2014 Larrivaux has a very satisfying bouquet with blackberry, touches of blueberry and violet petal, demonstrating ample fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, crisp acidity, a palpable sense of symmetry. What it lacks in depth it compensates with in freshness and precision on the finish. This is a very well-crafted, delicious Haut-Médoc from the neighboring property to Lafon-Rochet.
The 2014 Larrivaux is soft, silky and very pretty. Expressive red stone fruits, fresh flowers, cedar and new leather give the wine brightness and freshness. Drink this classy, restrained Haut-Médoc over the next handful of years. Tasted two times.
