Tasting notes
Gerin’s 2013 St Joseph is a winner that savvy ready should seek out. Giving up classic, old school notes of leather, peppery herbs, bacon fat and black raspberry-scented fruit, it’s medium-bodied, has beautiful purity and fine tannin that emerge on the finish. I’d happily drink it anytime over the coming 5-6 years.

Bright purple. Smoky dark berry and floral scents show good clarity and lift. Spicy and tightly focused, with a succulent herb quality accenting juicy blackberry and bitter cherry flavors. Finishes spicy and tight, with echoing bitterness and firm tannic grip.
