Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2012 tasting in Beaune. The 2012 Meursault 1er Cru les Grand Charrons from Boisson-Vadot has an attractive bouquet with shaved almond and orange blossom scents that gently unfurl from the glass. The palate is well balanced with a twist of dried orange peel on the entry, sagging a little on the mid-palate but returning with a poised, ginger-infused finish. It is a pretty Burgundy 2012 probably best consumed over the next 4-5 years. Oct 2015, www.robertparker.com
