2012 Vosne Romanee Les Petits Monts

The 2012 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Petits Monts is a pretty wine that almost compensates for the under-ripe Bourgogne Rouge 2012. It has an elegant bouquet with mineral-rich red cherry fruit, hints of wilted rose petal in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with a fine line of acidity, although it cuts away too swiftly on the finish. Still, this is nicely balanced, feminine, and expresses the terroir with style. Drink 2015-2022. No known US importer.
