Tasting notes
The 2008 Barolo Serralunga is a gorgeous mid-weight wine that captures the essence of Serralunga in its dark red fruit, rose petals, tar and licorice. This deceptively medium-bodied Barolo possesses striking depth and fabulous overall balance for a straight Barolo bottling.

Good medium red. Raspberry and red cherry aromas along with some funky leather and game notes. Big, sweet and a bit chunky; could use more detail and lift. Fairly rich Barolo but unrefined, with the rather tough tannins currently cutting off the fruit.
