Tasting notes
Moderately saturated medium red. Lively, pure aromas of raspberry and flowers; I had the impression of getting back to my preferred style of Burgundy Supple and round, but juicy thanks to an edge of acidity. Subtle notes of red fruits, flowers and minerals. Finishes with dusty tannins.

Sweet grapes and black cherries can be found in the expressive aromatics of the 2002 Chambolle-Musigny. This extroverted, elegant, medium-bodied wine offers powerful, satin-textured waves of dark fruits intermingled with pepper. Focused and structured by loads of ripe tannin, it is a candidate for drinking between 2006 and 2011. Importer: Diageo Chateau and Estate Wines Company, New York, NY; tel. (212) 419-1400
Good deep red. Sappy aromas of dark berries and espresso; slightly reduced. Sweet and seductive on the palate, with a generous texture and a hint of gamey reduction. Fine-grained tannins are nicely integrated. Should make a sweet, stylish village wine.
