Score 91-93/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2013
(tasted at the end of its malolactic fermentation): Pale, bright yellow. Sweaty curry powder, mint, licorice and white pepper on the nose. Silky, supple and concentrated, with a strong impression of dry extract to the ripe peach and curry powder flavors. A very successful, vibrant Batard with a long, fine-grained, lightly saline finish.
