The 2013 La Vieille Cure is endowed with gorgeous depth, volume and texture, although the aromatics lack a bit of definition today. Dark stone fruits, violets, smoke, camphor, licorice and spices inform the intense, structured finish in this attractive red. There is plenty of potential here, especially if the wine finds a bit more focus. Tasted two times.
