Tasting notes
The 2013 Larrivet Haut Brion Blanc has a delightful bouquet with grapefruit, lime and orange cordial notes, the oak neatly integrated here. The palate is well balanced with bitter lemon and dried quince, slightly waxier in texture than its peers with a spicy, melon and ginger finish. There is a lot going on in this Larrivet Haut Brion and I am intrigued to see how it ages. Certainly, it would be my pick over the red in 2013.

Excellent notes of honeyed grapefruit, citrus oil and lemon blossom are offered in a medium-bodied, concentrated, impressive style. It should drink well for 10-12 years. Wine Advocate.August, 2014
