Tasting notes
Serralunga d’Alba. Leafy, red fruit and beautiful, brick-like tannins and sweet fruit. Embryonic yet a transparent expression of Serralunga. (WS)

The 2010 Barolo La Serra is especially powerful and virile in this vintage. Intense black and blue fruit, leather, licorice, smoke and spices meld together in an intense, voluptuous wine backed up by considerable structure. The La Serra is dark, dense and resonant to the core. This is an especially ripe Barolo for the year, but all the elements are in the right place.
Serralunga d’Alba. Just mid ruby. Fragrant but subdued with savoury hints. Wonderful elegant, almost lightweight, impression but with plenty of power behind it. Really distinct. (WS)
Serralunga d'Alba. Healthy-looking mid ruby. Minerally, iron nose. Quite pure and concentrated. Pretty, coating tannins and a near perfect balance. (WS)
