Tasting notes
Paler and more evolved than most. A little loose and definitely open. Chewy end. Pretty tough. (JR)

Medium red. Highly perfumed aromas of red cherry, flowers and spicy oak. Suave, silky and almost surprisingly expressive today, with lovely red fruit and mineral flavors showing impressive density. Tightens up on the back end, finishing with dusty tannins and no easy sweetness.
(13.1% alcohol) Good deep red. Sexy perfume of raspberry, sweet spices and exotic oak (just one-third new, though). Quite spicy but imploded, with hints of bitter chocolate and mint. Not yet sweet. One gets the impression that this youthfully disjointed wine still needs to integrate its stem component. The pungent finish shows some firm wood tannins. Mostly hiding its richness today.
Deep crimson. Tense and quite exciting. Oak shows a little obviously. Not really fine enough for the price. A bit awkward, though there is density here. (JR)
