Tasting notes
The 2012 Puligny Montrachet les Tremblots from Olivier Lamy has an attractive bouquet that feels a little more resinous and waxy than its peers. Still, there is fine delineation here, developing spicy scents with aeration. The palate is well balanced with that spicy note continuing, touches of marmalade and orange rind underpinning the citric finish that just needs a little more length. Fine.

Not much on the nose, a touch salty. Lemon freshness on the palate, relatively lightweight but unexpectedly persistent and mouthwateringly fresh at the very end. (JH)
