55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot. Restrained on the nose, fresh and a light dustiness over the dark fruit. Dense, firm yet smooth. Restrained but elegant. (JH)

Cru bourgeois. Dramatically dark purple. Some scent and impression of silkiness. Very round and flattering. Certainly different from the Médoc norm, but I would guess quite typical of 2009. Very dry finish but it should all settle down eventually. Needs time. (JR)

Excellent concentration of fruit here, with crushed blackberries. Full and juicy, with medium chewy tannins and a fresh finish. Impressive. Best ever from here
