(just one-and-a-half barrels made, all from estate fruit) Ripe, fresh aromas of pineapple lifted by flowers. Penetrating acidity gives a light touch to the bright flavors of fresh pineapple and talc. Quite fine on the back end, finishing with lovely aromatic lift and little of the phenolic character often shown by Batard. These vines were harvested early in 2009, noted Prost.
