(Morey's parcel is at the summit of this vineyard, adjacent to Le Montrachet) Rather Montrachet-like aromas of lime, menthol, iodine, roasted nuts, clove and marzipan. Superconcentrated but very tightly wound. Denser than the Perrieres, but strong acids give this wine terrific energy as well. Shows strong oak notes of nuts and vanilla on the back end. This mounts slowly and lingers impressively, showing a distinct stony character. Like the Perrieres, this powerful wine really calls for a decade of patience.
