The only 1973 Palmer that I ever tasted was my own bottle opened to celebrate my brother's birth year. I should have bought him an Argos voucher instead. The nose was over-chaptalized and rather dull. The palate had passed maturity, though with vestiges of freshness with a coherent light finish. Scrap the Argos voucher; this will do...just. Tasted chez moi.
