Tasting notes
Moderately saturated red. Slightly medicinal aromas of cherry, red berries, iron, licorice, spices and earth, with a distinct peppery nuance. At once primary and suave, with lovely texture and del icacy and sneaky length. The peppery quality carries through in the mouth, but there's nothing aggressive about this youthful Po mmard.

Deep ruby-red. Smoky red and black fruits, underbrush, mocha and meat on the nose. Suave on entry, then rather tight and folded in on itself in the middle. Impressively deep flavors of bitter cherry and leather. This hasn't yet blossomed but shows more fullness than the Pitures, and offers considerable potential. Finishes very long, with broad, chewy tannins. A very impressive sample.
