Tasting notes
Violets, red cherries, and raspberries are found in the mouth-watering aromatics of the 2003 Vosne-Romanee Les Genaivrieres. Medium-bodied and satin-textured, this jammy, plump, sweet effort coats the palate with suave, forward red cherries. Displaying outstanding depth and length, it is a candidate for drinking over the next 6-7 years. Good full medium red. Complex nose melds black raspberry, cherry, smoke, minerals and flowers. Firmly built and spicy, with lovely floral lift and firm but nicely integrated acidity. Comes across as fresher and more delineated than the Nuits villages
