50% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc. Mid crimson. Mild nose and very well balanced in restrained mould. Far from opulent! Sucks the saliva from your cheeks. Correct but not much fun. Bone dry and classic. Sort of 'as good as we can do this year but we accept we are never going to present you with lashings of charm'. (JR)
60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot. Only mid crimson. Light, clean nose of moderate intensity. Quite marked acidity. Respectable without being very fleshy. Really very skinny actually. Definitely needs food. Tails off. (JR)
