(from Narvaux; cuvee destined for the U.S. market) Very ripe aromas of candied lemon peel and nectarine. Fat, sweet and ripe, offering considerable early appeal. Very Meursault in character, from redder soil.

(from Vireuils-Dessous) Stony aromas of lime, quinine and ginger. Subtle and light on its feet, with classically dry flavors of lime and minerals. Vibrant citrus and mineral flavors. Completely different in style from the Luchets, and perhaps more typical of the 2004 vintage. U.S. importer Kermit Lynch selected this cuvee as his village wine in 2000 and 2003, according to Coche; Lynch picked the Narvaux in 2001 and 2002.
