Score 89/100 · Drink 2002-2024, Monica Larner, Wine Advocate, Nov 2024

The Caparzo 1995 Brunello di Montalcino La Casa shows good balance between aging fruit and toasted oak aromas. The wine reveals silky tannins, and as it opens in the glass, you get aromas that recall rusty nail, baked brick and candied orange peel. There are aromas of grilled herb or lavender on the delicate finish.
