Medium red. Cool, vibrant nose combines fresh raspberry, licorice, white truffle and menthol. Juicy, sappy and taut, with strong minerality combining with harmonious acidity to give the wine superb inner-mouth energy without any excess weight. A very youthful, linear wine, finishing with well-integrated tannins and terrific subtle persistence.

Bright medium red. Floral aromas of cherry, raspberry, licorice and smoke. Juicy, sappy and fresh, with intense red fruit flavors brightened by sound acidity; the wine's minerality contributes force. Finishes firm and very persistent, with harmonious tannins. A very elegant, intense wine with a light touch. From a yield of just under 30 hectoliters per hectare, according to Clavelier, who told me that the pH was a very healthy 3.4.
