Ripe and a good minerally spread across the palate. Bone dry but there is some weight in the middle here. (JR)

(a five-variety blend based on 60% cabernet sauvignon): Medium red. Musky redcurrant and game dominate the nose. Sweet and lively, with a bit of leathery reduction to the currant and underbrush flavors. Good stuffing and balance here. Finishes with subtle building length. There's no rush to drink this nicely structured Pauillac.

The 2010 is medium to full-bodied, with soft tannins, low acidity, sweet, licorice-infused black currant fruit and a whiff of underbrush. A beauty, it should drink nicely for 10 years or more. Owned by the Peyronie family, this Pauillac estate produces wines made from a blend of three-quarters Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Merlot. A member of the Alliance des Cru Bourgeois du Medoc.
