80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc from the home farm of the owners of Ch Lafleur. Very deep crimson for a Bordeaux AC! Lovely freshness on the nose. Reasonable amount of matière on the palate and great balance though this is certainly a fairly short-term wine with quite a severe finish. Low yields of 36 hl/ha. (JR)
