2001 Chablis Blanchots

Honey, apple and a whiff of exotic fruits on the nose; less pure and minerally than the 2002 but nicely ripe. Fat and honeyed in the mouth, with some minerality and a very dry impression. Offers more inner-mouth energy than the previous 2001s I tasted at Laroche. Finishes with good length and a trace of dryness.
