Tasting notes
Good deep red. Raspberry, exotic spices and a hint of cocoa powder on the nose; slightly muddied today by SO2 Silky, suave and sweet on the palate, with enticing flavors of dark cherry, flowers and cocoa powder. Here the tannins are sweeter than those of the village bottlings.

(just two barrels produced, from 59-year-old vines) Good full red. Pure aromas of maraschino cherry, smoke and meat; a bit blacker in character than the Clos du Chateau. Fat, sweet and fine-grained, with firm minerality lending shape to the middle palate. Very suave, ripe finish features sweet tannins, hints of dark berries and pepper and noteworthy length.
