2000 Bonnes Mares

Dark ruby. Deep aromas of wild berries, bitter chocolate and earth. Muscular and tightly wound but with vibrant, very ripe black fruit, licorice and herbal flavors of noteworthy complexity. Has more verve than most of these 2000s. The substantial tannins coat the entire palate.
