Score 90/100 · Drink 2003-2007, Robert Parker, Jun 2003
A 70% Marsanne/30% Roussanne blend, the outstanding 2000 Hermitage blanc (one-fourth aged in tank and the balance in barrel) is a small 150-case cuvee that goes through 100% malolactic. It offers aromas of rose petals, honeyed tropical fruits, and minerals in a powerful yet elegant format. It should be drunk over the next 3-4 years then forgotten for a decade.
