Score 89/100 · Robert Parker
This is a micro-estate producing several hundred cases from a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. Dense ruby/purple-colored, with blackberry, licorice, cherry, and toasty new oak aromas as well as flavors, this deep, medium to full-bodied St.-Emilion is chewy, dense, concentrated, and well-made. The pure, concentrated, moderately tannic finish suggest 2-3 years of cellaring is warranted. Anticipated maturity: 2003-2016. Wine Advocate.April, 2001
