Tasting notes
Typical, cedar aromas of Haut-Médoc. Stalky, but also ripe. Minty, cedary taste with nice balance. Good for Christmas lunch. (MJ)

Revealing better balance as well as more elegance than the 2003, the 2002 offers copious amounts of sweet currant and cherry fruit intermixed with cedar and spice box. While neither flamboyant nor deep, it is a well-balanced, attractive effort to enjoy over the next 5-7 years.
Now under the same management as Talbot, this wine was showing very well. Great freshness on the nose – perhaps a slightly herbaceous undercurrent – but a full, round, fleshy palate. Clean and appetising. (JR)
