Candied lemon peel and steely minerality on the nose. Richer and more accessible than the Caillerets but perhaps a bit less penetrating. Conveys a creamy old-viney texture and an impression of higher alcohol, but the thicker texture is supported by firm underlying minerality. Very long and ripe on the aftertaste.

Lovely aromas of white peach, grapefruit and flowers. Rich, dense and sweet (this still has 2.8 grams/liter of residual sugar but will eventually finish drier), with a lush texture and very ripe flavors of pineapple and grapefruit lifted by harmonious acidity. Very long on the finish.
