Score 90-93/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
High-toned, sappy aromas of white flowers and minerals. Large-framed but hard-edged, with a strong impression of minerality and acidity. Shows less stuffing then the Dents de Chien and thus comes across as more austere today. This powerful wine will need time in bottle. Ripening here was also slowed by the heat of August.
