Light and lively. Far from a blockbuster with just a hint of greenness on the nose but a very nice well balanced drink – a sort of baby Domaine de Chevalier. Lunchtime claret indeed...! (JR)

This solidly made, soft, medium-bodied cru bourgeois reveals herb-infused black cherry and currant fruit as well as decent acidity. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.

B: A little paler than most. Rather simple red fruit flavours. Rather loose – not much oak influence – easy peasy but not very ambitious. Green tannins impinge on the finish. (JR)
