2001 Aiguilhe Querre

A small garagiste operation, this tiny 3-acre vineyard (planted with 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc) has produced a dark ruby-colored, medium-bodied 2001 offering sweet black currant and cherry flavors possessing considerable ripeness, and a nicely textured, spicy finish.
