Tasting notes
Pale, bright yellow. Ripe but brisk aromas of yellow peach and lemon thyme. Richer, riper and more glyceral than the basic village Puligny, with a chewier texture. A bigger wine but a bit less harmonious today, and seriously dry on the back end.

The barest trace of reduction is not enough to restrain the pungent green fruit and citrus aromas that precede nicely detailed, vibrant and supple middle weight flavors that possess a solid acid spine and good if not truly special length. I like the balance and if this can add depth in bottle, my score may well be a bit conservative. Note also that there is noticeable gas and a quick 20 minute aeration is suggested.
