Tasting notes
The 2004 Torrione, a dark ruby, opens with suggestions of freshly cut roses, spices and hint of white truffle. Fresh and vibrant, this medium-bodied 100% Sangiovese offers plenty of fruit with outstanding length and fine tannins on the finish. The 2004 is a more linear expression than the rounder 2003 and will require another year or two in bottle to drink at its finest.
