Incredibly sweet aromas of boysenberry, steak tartare and exotic oak. Creamy, thick and primal, with a sauvage animal note adding to its essence of dark berry complexity. Totally unevolved, especially next to the regular '94 Pesquera, which is starting to express itself. The nearly painful finish features huge but even tannins and powerful thrust, along with finishing notes of smoke and espresso. Wow! This is cheap (and the Tinto Pesquera is even better value) when you consider today's Bordeaux prices.
