Tasting notes
Good bright, deep red. Penetrating aromas of red cherry and rose petal. Superb cut and purity to the juicy flavors of red berries, cherry and minerals. Conveys a very strong impression of inner-mouth perfume and energy. Finishes with terrific building length and a firm spine of ripe acidity. Built for a slow and long evolution in bottle.

Fragrant with both red fruit and a slightly floral note. Not particularly concentrated but elegant, fresh and sustained. Dry finish but not drying. (JH)
(25% vendange entier ): Good full red. Pungent aromas of raspberry, crushed stone and white pepper. Enters with intense raspberry and spices, then turns firm and floral in the middle, showing superb energy and sappiness to the primary red fruit and mineral flavors. With its saline impression of extract and strong tannic spine, this should evolve in bottle for couple of decades.
About the producer

Domaine Faiveley is one of Burgundy’s most important wine producers. The family-owned estate, now in the hands of the seventh generation, is one of the largest in the region, with significant holdings in both the Côte d’Or and the Côte Chalonnaise.
