Deep red-ruby. Highly nuanced nose combines red fruits, earth and game. Sweet, concentrated and quite fine; at once fat and delineated. Classy Echezeaux, finishing with very fine, dusty tannins and excellent persistence.

Good deep red-ruby. Very ripe but very fresh aromas of blackberry, minerals, meat and smoky, nutty oak. Fresh, concentrated and nicely delineated, with lovely sweetening influence of oak. Here again, the lively acids contribute to the wine's inner-mouth perfume. A stylish, refined Echezeaux that should surpass the 2000 and 1999 versions.
