Score 88/100 · Drink 1990-1996, Robert Parker, Jan 1990
Dujac's Echezeaux is usually his lightest and most delicate wine, and it never possesses the depth or profound complexity of his Clos St.-Denis, Charmes-Chambertin, Clos de la Roche, or Gevrey-Chambertin Les Combottes. It does show a beautiful ripe berry fruitiness, a light- to medium-bodied texture, and a soft, velvety finish. I would opt for drinking it by 1993-1996.
