Bright pale yellow. Aromas of lemon, lime, clove, nutmeg and crushed stone, with a hint of cherry-almond. Fat, concentrated and sweet; almost heavy for Corton-Charlemagne yet nicely aromatic in the middle palate, with a suggestion of red berries. This very broad and ripe wine, from vines in Les Pougets facing full south, finishes with notes of menthol and crushed stone and an almost tannic impression. A good example of a Corton-Charlemagne that's almost like a red wine in its structure.

Currently being fined. Not much nose but very sleek and concentrated. Quite a bit of sweetness on the front palate but lovely texture and composition. Not the biggest Corton-Charlemagne but no disappointment. (JR)
Good pale-medium yellow. Ripe, expressive, vibrant aromas of apple, lime and spices. Very ripe, concentrated and glyceral, but with lovely aromatic lift for such a creamy wine. Shows a strong nutmeg character in the middle and mounts impressively on the very long, rich aftertaste. Tactile-verging-on-painful but not phenolic.
