Score 92-94/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2004
(this was still on its lees at the beginning of June!) Vibrant, complex nose of green apple, mint and crushed stone. Bracingly mineral in the mouth, with powerful acidity giving cut to the very ripe flavors of lime, apple, mint and stone. A wine of great freshness and cut. Martin Prieur compares this to the estate's 2001 Corton-Charlemagne, and believes it's more complex than the 2000.
