2005 Savigny Les Beaune

In bottle for barely a week when I tasted it, their 2005 Savigny-les-Beaune offers a sweet nose of cassis and black raspberry, abundant ripe black fruit with a hint of cocoa powder and chalk dust on the palate. A clear, sweet finishing fruit completes the very polished picture presented by this wine, of which 2,100 cases were bottled.
