Still pleasant, but 2-3 years past its peak, this 1990 possesses aromas of herbs, red and black fruits, earth, and spice, but the finish is attenuated, and the wine is clearly beginning to lose its fruit. Release price: ($140.00/case)
Slightly rustic wine, but well-concentrated. Dark ruby color. Plenty of berry, cherry and tar aromas that follow through to a full-bodied palate with firm tannins and a ripe fruit finish.--1990 Bordeaux retrospective. Drink now through 2008. 24,000 cases made.James Suckling, Wine Spectator 2000
